Trumbauersville Fire Co. No. 1 is staffed completely by volunteers. We provide fire protection to Trumbauersville Borough and portions of Milford, Richland, and West Rockhill Townships 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We serve the residents in our coverage area with an Engine, Tanker, and a Rescue and are currently responding to approximately 135 emergencies each year. We are the primary fire company to respond to any emergency in the area indicated (Inside Black Lines) by the map below.

We are also involved in mutual aid calls with the surrounding companies located in Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh, and Northampton counties.

In addition to fire protection, we offer Hazardous Materials Protection, Fire Police Services, Emergency Medical Assistance, Fire Prevention Programs, Pool Fills, Basement Pumping and hall, table, and chair rentals. Our operational budget averages $178,000 a year which will cover the maintenance of our building and equipment, training costs and the purchases of new equipment. We rely heavily on the skills of our volunteers to keep our costs as low as possible. We receive a portion of our funding through municipal donations and grants however we also rely heavily on private donations and fundraisers. Just as with private individuals, our expenses are constantly increasing, specifically our fuel bills have greatly increased the past couple of years. Our budget will change and our expenditures will increase significantly over the course of the next few years due to the purchase of a new Engine at a cost of $472,000 and we are planning to build a new firehouse by 2011.

The Fire Company sends out an annual fund drive letter in early spring each year. Your donations are critical in allowing us to keep our doors open as an all volunteer company. Every dollar counts and your donation is tax deductible. In addition, we raise money at multiple events throughout the year. We hold an annual carnival, dinners, hoagie sales, Easter flower sale, golf tournament, basket bingos, etc. You can help support the Fire Company by attending our events.

Another way to support the company and the community is by becoming a volunteer. We offer positions of Active Firefighter (Senior, over age 18 and Junior, ages 14 to 17), Fire Police and Active Non-Firefighter (someone who assists at events but does not respond to emergencies).
