At 1845 hrs, BCR dispatched BOX 17-33 (Quakertown) for a building fire assignment at the QMart in Richland Township, with multiple calls with fire through the roof.  Rescue 58 took the road with 7 to assist as the fire rescue, just behind Squirt 18, who was at the 58 house for carnival cover.  Upon arrival with fire through the roof, Chief 87(Wilhelm) assigned R58 to Side A search and rescue assignment due to civilians running back into the building. Operations Chief (Battalion Pfaff) split the crew for hooking ceilings as well. QFD crews made an excellent attack on the fire stopping it from spreading in the open ceiling area.  2nd Alarm was pulled for manpower due to hot temperatures outside.  Crew on scene for an extended period of time for overhaul.  Rescue 58 returned to quarters along with Squirt 18 for carnival detail.
