Station 58 along with MTFD Field 75 were dispatched for the report of extinguished brush in the 2000 block of Grennview Commons.  C58 arrived on scene and found that there was no brush fire and found the back of a dwelling that actually had lit off from an unknown source on the deck.  The homeowner was not home at the time. . An alert neighbor saw the smoke billowing from the house and used a dry chem and garden hose to douse the flames that had risen to the 2nd story.  Assignment was upgraded to an extinguished dwelling. Crews arrived and began overhaul and checcking for extension. FM201 (Kramer) along with FM245(Young) were on scene for the investigation. 

While on scene, Rescue 58 took in a dwelling assignment in the Qtown district and Utility 58 took in a medical emergency.
