Quakertown Borough hosted its annual Community Day in Memorial Park. Part of the festivities were the fire company water battles.  Once again, the brothers of West End Fire Co led by Captain Neubert took 1st place. Congratulations Station 18. The junior volunteers of 58 took the 2nd place trophy led by FF Jansons on the tip.

The night was capped off with a spectacular fireworks display. Tr58 supplied water to the hot zone while the Engine and Rescue stood by on a cover task force for the Qtown District. Utility 58 also kept a crew in-house for any QRS runs.  Rescue and Engine 58 did take in an 18 local assignment for  brush with the fire being extinguished by party goers on arrival.
